When I start the MyHunt Watch app, after a while it shows: "No devices found" on the watch. Why is it not working?
This is a common issue, that often happens, when there is a connection issue between the watch and the Base Station. Here is how you can resolve it:
1. Check if your handheld device has activated broadcasting of dog data
--- activate--->
On your Garmin handheld device, you need to turn on the ‘Broadcast Dog Data’ option. Follow these steps, depending on your Garmin Handheld device:
Alpha 100 & Astro
- Select Setup
- Select Dogs
- Select Broadcast Dog Data & Enable it
- Then restart the MyHunt Watch app and try again
Alpha 200/300
- Select Setup
- Select System
- Toggle on Broadcast Dog Data
- Then restart the MyHunt Watch app and try again
Alpha 10
- Select Setup
- Select Remote View
- Select Status to turn on
- Then restart the MyHunt Watch app and try again
Here is a video that shows the process on a Garmin alpha 200.
2. Deactivate Garmin Dog Track on your Garmin Watch to free up the connection for MyHunt
--- deactivate--->
To deactivate Dog Track and allow a connection with Myhunt:
-
- Go to Settings (long press ‘UP’)
- Go to Sensors & Accessories
- Scroll down the list, and select “Dog Track”
- Select Status and Deactivate it (if enabled)
- Then restart the MyHunt Watch app and try again
Here is a video showing the process.
