Connecting the new ZEISS wildlife camera to your hunting companion - step by step

1. set up the wildlife camera in the hunting companion

1. Enter a name for the camera (e.g. "Camera Kirrung West").

   Note: This name is only visible to you and is not transferred to the ZEISS app.

2. Set the camera type to "Mobile".
3. Select the "ZEISS" model.
4. Tap on "Save and connect".

Hunting companion now automatically generates a camera code consisting only of digits (e.g. "482931").

→ You must later copy this code exactly into the "Camera name" field of the ZEISS app.

2. enter the camera code in the ZEISS app

1. Copy the automatically generated camera code from Jagdgefährte.
2. Open the ZEISS app.
3. Go to the camera settings of the corresponding camera.
4. Tap on "Edit".
5. Paste the camera code 1:1 into the "Camera name" field - do not make any changes.

3. share camera with contact

For the first Zeiss camera you add:

1. Now, for the camera whose name you have changed, select "Share camera" and then "Invite contact"
2. Copy the contact name exactly as it is displayed in Hunting Companion and add it as a contact in the Zeiss app
3. Copy the exact email address as displayed and add it as a contact in the Zeiss app
4. Select "Send invitation"

For all other Zeiss cameras you add:

1. Select "other contacts"
2. Select the import contact and click on "Add"

5. wait for approval by hunting companion

• The hunting companion team will approve the camera.
• As soon as this is done, your ZEISS wildlife camera is successfully connected to Jagdgefährte.
• From this point on, you will automatically receive all new images in Jagdgefährte.

6. Completion

• Tap on "Done".
• The camera is now active - the first images will be visible as soon as they are taken.
